Players Like...

❤ Assembling a Heroic Party

Players begin by choosing a party of three heroes from a diverse roster of ten unique character classes. Each class has access to three specialized decks, allowing for a wealth of customization. The Swordhand, for example, can focus on deadly melee combos, while the Spellbinder excels at long-range spell slinging.

❤ Customizing Hero Capabilities

As heroes gain experience, players unlock skill points to expand their capabilities on an intricate skill grid. Investing in the Swordhand's Whirlwind ability, for instance, increases its damage and stun chance, while bolstering the Spellbinder's Arcane Barrage with added Pierce and Overload effects. Additionally, equipping heroes with an array of weapons, armor, and enchanted trinkets can insert powerful new cards into their decks or modify the function of existing ones.

❤ Tactical Deckbuilding

The turnbased combat system demands careful resource management and strategic positioning. Each card represents an attack, defense, or special ability that costs action points to play. Players must thoughtfully sequence these cards to maximize damage output while mitigating incoming threats. Certain attacks have limited ranges or area-of-effect targeting, necessitating astute positioning on the battlefield grid.

❤ Exploring a Cursed World

Between combat encounters, players navigate a procedurally-generated overworld map, completing quests, discovering valuable loot, and facing random events that present branching choices and skill checks. This exploratory layer adds an element of unpredictability and decision-making to the core deckbuilding and combat loop.

❤ Endless Replayability

As players progress through the campaign's four acts or dive into the endless Realm mode, they unlock new heroes, items, and gameplay modifiers. This ensures a high degree of replayability, as players can experiment with novel party compositions, deck strategies, and equipment setups across numerous playthroughs.
