❤ Gameplay Overview

The game's core gameplay revolves around the classic "one vs. thousands" hack-and-slash action that the Dynasty Warriors series is known for. Players take control of various historical officers from the Three Kingdoms era of China and battle through large-scale battlefields, cutting down hundreds of enemy soldiers at a time.

❤ Combat System

The combat utilizes a 6-button attack system, allowing players to string together light and strong attacks into fluid combos. This returns to the classic combat system after the experimental Renbu system introduced in the previous entry. Players can also perform powerful Musou attacks and use special weapons and abilities to decimate hordes of enemies.

❤ Progression and Customization

Character progression is handled through a skill system, where players unlock new abilities and upgrades for their chosen officers, replacing the leveling system seen in previous entries. Additionally, players can freely equip any weapon to any character, allowing for more customization of their playstyle.

❤ Gameplay Modes

In addition to the main Story Mode, the game offers several other gameplay modes: Conquest Mode, a grid-based map mode where players take control of a kingdom and engage in various skirmish battles and capture objectives; Legend Mode, a mode focused on character progression, where players can earn titles and powerful weapons for their officers; and Challenge Mode, which offers four unique courses that test the player's combat skills and technique.
