❤ Gameplay Overview

In this unique blend of a word game and fantasy RPG, the player controls a party of adventurers who automatically move from left to right across 2D stages. Along the way, they encounter various enemy battles, traps, and treasure chests, all of which the player must overcome using their word-forming skills.

❤ Word Mechanics

At the core of the gameplay is the letter grid mechanic. During encounters, the player is presented with a grid of letters and must rapidly type out words using the adjacent letters, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Longer words generally deal more damage to enemies or have stronger effects, incentivizing players to find creative, high-scoring words. The game also features special colored letters that unlock powerful "skill" attacks when incorporated into words.

❤ Varied Encounter Types

Beyond standard combat, the game presents several other word-based challenges. Trap encounters require the player to use all the available letters to form words before time runs out, while treasure chests introduce anagram puzzles that must be solved. There is also a "last stand" mechanic where the player must unscramble an anagram to revive a fallen party member.

❤ Party Management

As the player progresses, they can recruit new adventurer characters to join their party, each with unique abilities and skill sets. Managing this party, equipping them with gear, and leveling them up adds an RPG-like progression system on top of the core word game mechanics. Players must strategically choose which party members to bring into each stage based on the challenges they expect to face.

❤ Replayability

The game features a high degree of randomization, with levels, enemy encounters, and treasure all being procedurally generated. This, combined with the ability to start new runs while retaining progress on unlocked characters, provides a sense of replayability and encourages experimentation with different party compositions. Multiple difficulty settings also accommodate players of varying skill levels.
