Rising World is a voxel based open-world sandbox game, featuring a procedurally generated world, playable in single and multi-player.
The game allows players to explore and modify a procedurally generated world, offering both single-player and multiplayer modes.
Players can freely traverse the diverse biomes, which include temperate, tundra, and savanna environments, each with unique terrain and wildlife. When chopping down trees, they fall realistically in the direction of the player's cuts, leaving behind stumps that can be further processed. Similarly, digging into the ground creates uneven, natural-looking holes and tunnels.
To survive, players must gather resources like wood, stone, and various ores, then use them to craft a wide variety of tools, weapons, and building materials at dedicated crafting stations. The crafting system stands out for its depth and flexibility, allowing players to create not only basic items, but also complex structures like furniture, vehicles, and musical instruments. The ability to shape and resize many crafted objects enables a high degree of customization and creativity.
While a creative mode is available, the game also features survival elements. Players must manage their character's hunger and thirst levels, which can be addressed through hunting, gathering, or farming. Additionally, the world is populated by aggressive wildlife, such as bears and elephants, that pose a threat to the player, encouraging strategic preparation and engagement.
