In KILLING FLOOR 2, players descend into continental Europe after it has been overrun by horrific, murderous clones called Zeds that were created by rogue elements of the Horzine Corporation. 6-player Co-Op & 12-player VS Zed-slaughtering mayhem.
Players work together in teams of 1-6 to fight off hordes of mutant "Zed" enemies. The gameplay focuses on surviving increasingly difficult waves, requiring teamwork, tactical positioning, and effective use of class-specific weapons and abilities.
The game features a diverse array of enemy types, each with unique behaviors, attack patterns, and weaknesses. As difficulty increases, Zeds become more aggressive, coordinated, and difficult to take down, forcing players to adapt their strategies.
The game's gunplay is incredibly satisfying, with a strong sense of impact and weight. Weapons feature excellent sound design and impactful visual effects. The exceptional gore system allows players to realistically blow off Zed limbs in gruesome detail.
Players can choose from a variety of specialized "Perk" classes, each with unique playstyles, weapons, and abilities. As players level up their chosen Perk, they unlock new skills and upgrades that enhance their effectiveness in combat, encouraging experimentation with different Perks.
The combination of randomized enemy spawns, varied map layouts, and the need to adapt to changing circumstances creates an environment where no two playthroughs are exactly the same. Additionally, the game features a range of game modes, weekly challenges, and community-created content that further expand the gameplay possibilities.
The game's movement, aiming, and shooting feel precise and satisfying, contributing to an overall sense of polish and refinement in the gameplay experience.
