Quico’s best friend, Monster, is a huge beast with razor-sharp teeth, but that doesn’t scare Quico away from playing with him. That said, Monster does have a very dangerous problem: an addiction to poisonous frogs.

❤ Environmental Puzzle Solving

Players take control of the young protagonist Quico and must navigate through a surreal, imaginative world made up of fantastical architecture and environments. Throughout the experience, players encounter a variety of puzzles that involve manipulating the environment in creative ways to progress. The core gameplay revolves around solving these environmental puzzles. For example, players may need to draw a chalk line to create a new path, or move a house-like structure to reach a new area. The puzzles start out relatively simple but gradually become more complex, challenging players to think creatively about how to alter the surrounding world.

❤ Platforming Challenges

In addition to the puzzles, the experience also features platforming challenges where players must traverse the environment by jumping between platforms, climbing, and using the help of the monstrous creature known as Monster. While the platforming is not extremely difficult, it still requires good timing and precision from the player to successfully navigate the levels.

❤ Relationship with Monster

A key gameplay mechanic is the player's relationship with Monster. At times, Monster can assist players by allowing Quico to use his body as a platform to reach new areas. However, Monster also has a dangerous addiction to poisonous frogs, which causes him to become violent and unpredictable. Players must learn to both rely on and avoid Monster at different points in the experience.

❤ Exploration and Collectibles

While the gameplay is fairly linear, the surreal environments encourage exploration, with optional collectibles such as hats for Quico to wear adding a layer of optional content for players who want to fully immerse themselves.
