❤ Objective and Roles

In each game, players take on one of two roles: Crewmates or Impostors. Crewmates must complete a series of assigned tasks around the map to prepare the ship for departure. Meanwhile, Impostors secretly work to disrupt the Crewmates' progress and eliminate them one-by-one without being caught.

❤ Crewmate Gameplay

As a Crewmate, you must vigilantly complete various tasks, like downloading data or calibrating the distributor. These tasks can be quick and simple or involve longer, multi-step processes. Completing your tasks advances the crew's collective progress towards victory. If you discover a dead body or witness an Impostor sabotaging the ship, you can report the incident and start a group discussion. During these discussions, you and your fellow Crewmates try to determine who you believe is the Impostor based on alibis, evidence, and your assessment of other players' behavior. The group then votes to eject a suspected Impostor. Correctly identify the Impostor and they are ejected, but vote incorrectly and the Impostor remains. You can also use the map's security systems, like cameras and admin logs, to monitor other players' movements and identify suspicious activity.

❤ Impostor Gameplay

As an Impostor, your goal is to disrupt the Crewmates' progress and eliminate them covertly. You can quickly move around the map by venting between rooms, sabotage critical systems to create chaos, and kill Crewmates in private when they are alone. To avoid suspicion, you must blend in with the Crewmates, pretending to complete tasks and acting natural. During discussions, you must sow doubt, accuse others, and convince the group to vote out innocent Crewmates instead of you. Skilled Impostors can frame bystanders, create alibis, and misdirect the Crewmates to avoid being identified and ejected.

❤ Emergent Gameplay

The core loop of completing tasks, reporting incidents, and voting out suspected Impostors leads to a dynamic, ever-changing experience. The social deduction aspects, shifting alliances, and bluffing encourage creativity, quick thinking, and psychological manipulation as players try to outmaneuver each other. Communication, both in-game and through external voice chat, is crucial as Crewmates coordinate and Impostors attempt to sow discord. This results in a highly replayable and satisfying experience that players can enjoy for hours.
