❤ Gameplay Overview

The game features third-person action-oriented gameplay with a focus on cooperative play, puzzle-solving, and resource management. Players take control of a group of six college students who must navigate the dangerous Fallcreek University campus and uncover the mystery behind a deadly flower that spawns throughout the environment.

❤ Character Abilities and Teamwork

A key strength of the gameplay is its emphasis on cooperative play and utilizing the unique abilities of each playable character. Each protagonist has specialized skills such as hacking, climbing, or combat prowess. Players must work together to navigate environments, solve puzzles, and defeat enemies, as certain challenges can only be overcome by characters with specific abilities. This encourages players to switch between characters and coordinate their actions to progress through the game.

❤ Combat and Resource Management

The combat system is action-oriented, allowing players to engage enemies with a variety of melee and ranged weapons. The game places an emphasis on resource management, as ammunition and healing items are limited. Players must carefully consider when to use their firearms versus relying on melee attacks to conserve ammunition. Additionally, the game introduces a "light" mechanic, where certain enemies are vulnerable to bright light sources, further emphasizing the need for strategic combat decision-making.

❤ Puzzle-Solving

The game features a variety of environmental puzzles that players must solve to progress. These puzzles range from lock-picking mini-games to more complex challenges that require the coordinated efforts of multiple characters. The puzzles are generally well-integrated into the game's environments and contribute to the overall sense of exploration and discovery.

❤ Level Design and Exploration

The levels are designed in a semi-linear fashion, with players able to explore interconnected areas and backtrack as needed. The environments are varied, ranging from the college campus to more ominous, monster-infested locations. While the levels are not completely open-world, they still encourage a degree of exploration, with players able to find optional items and secrets scattered throughout the world.
