The Developer Says...

Players Like...

❤ Refined Turn-Based Combat

Players take turns moving their party members and issuing commands like attacking, using Arts (magic spells), or Crafts (special abilities) in the turn-based combat system. The turn order displays clearly, allowing players to strategize and plan their moves accordingly. The game introduces Chain Crafts, which enable characters to combo their Crafts together for increased damage and effects, adding an extra layer of strategy as players must carefully time and coordinate their characters' actions. The customization and progression of characters' equipment, Orbments (magical devices that grant Arts), and Quartz (elemental gems that modify stats and abilities) remains deep and rewarding. Players can fine-tune their party's capabilities, such as equipping characters with new Quartz options, to tackle the various challenges they'll face.

❤ Engaging Boss Battles

The boss battles, especially against the powerful Enforcers of the Ouroboros society, require players to carefully manage their resources, time their abilities, and exploit the bosses' weaknesses. These encounters are often described as "intense" and "challenging but fair", rewarding players who have optimized their party's setups and mastered the combat mechanics. Overcoming these tough bosses provides a genuine sense of accomplishment.

❤ Seamless Exploration and Progression

The game features a seamless, open-ended world to explore, with no loading screens or breaks in the action as players move between different areas. This sense of a living, breathing world is further enhanced by the abundance of side content, optional dialogues, and meaningful interactions with NPCs. The pacing and progression feel natural, with the story and side content organically leading players to new locations and challenges. There is little, if any, need for tedious grinding, as the experience gained from regular encounters is sufficient to keep the party adequately leveled.
