❤ Pilots Control a Variety of Mech Suits

Players pilot a selection of 10 unique mech suits, called Gearibits (GBs), each with their own strengths and weaknesses. The GBs offer a blend of ground-based and aerial movement, allowing players to boost quickly along the ground or take to the skies using powerful rocket thrusters. However, overusing the boost meter can cause the mech to overheat, temporarily grounding the player and leaving them vulnerable. This risk-reward mechanic encourages skillful boost management and positioning. In addition to the boosting/flying movement, each GB comes equipped with a unique melee weapon, such as a beam saber or pile bunker, that can devastate swarming enemies at close range. The combination of aerial mobility, ranged weapons, and close-quarters melee attacks provides players with a diverse and engaging combat toolkit.

❤ Extensive Weapon Customization

Players can equip up to three ranged weapons at a time, choosing from a roster of over 30 unique options. These range from standard machine guns and missile launchers to more exotic choices like railguns, beam rifles, and flamethrowers. The weight of each weapon factors into the loadout, with heavier armaments reducing the GB's mobility. This encourages players to thoughtfully balance firepower and maneuverability, tailoring their equipment to the demands of each mission. Some GBs also feature unique, unlimited-ammo special attacks that can turn the tide of battle, providing an additional layer of customization and strategic depth to the combat.

❤ Diverse Enemies and Challenging Encounters

Players face a variety of aggressive alien insects called Letopids, which come in different types with unique behaviors and attack patterns. In addition to the insect swarms, players must also contend with hostile enemy mech pilots. The missions themselves offer a good degree of variety, ranging from straightforward "exterminate all enemies" scenarios to more complex objectives like disabling transmitters or protecting friendly units. Some missions even feature dramatic set pieces, like a high-speed chase down a massive space elevator. While the core gameplay loop is relatively accessible, the game does not shy away from presenting players with genuine challenges. Certain missions and enemy encounters can become quite intense, requiring precise maneuvering, efficient weapon usage, and mastery of the game's mechanics.

❤ Progression and Replayability

As players progress through the 20-mission campaign, they'll unlock the 10 unique mech suits, encouraging repeat playthroughs as they explore how different GB chassis and weapon combinations affect the gameplay experience. The game also features a wave-based survival mode that allows players to customize the difficulty and enemy composition, providing an excellent avenue for further experimentation and skill development.
