Bum Simulator is a sandbox game bursting with inappropriate humor and memorable characters. You live on the streets of Bumsville. Do you have what it takes to adapt, survive and become an urban legend?
Players freely roam the streets of Bumsville, scavenging for resources and constructing their own cardboard bases. The open world encourages emergent gameplay - you can throw pigeons at people, create explosive "pigeondado" attacks, mix found items into potent alcohol concoctions, and ram unsuspecting pedestrians with your sentient shopping cart companion, Carl.
As you progress, you unlock new abilities and can upgrade your base and equipment. The crafting system, though sometimes tedious, allows you to create useful items and structures to aid your survival and control of the streets. Players appreciate the sense of progression and ability to customize their character and living space.
Strong voice acting and over-the-top humor permeate the narrative, from your own limited speech to interactions with eccentric NPCs - a billionaire who believes he's superior to the homeless, a mentally unstable clown, and your shopping cart confidant, Carl.
Underlying the sandbox chaos are basic survival needs - hunger, thirst, and other requirements that compel you to scavenge for food and other resources. While not overly punishing, these elements add a layer of challenge and realism to the gameplay loop.
