SEGA’s legendary Japanese series finally comes to PC. Fight like hell through Tokyo and Osaka as junior yakuza Kiryu and Majima. Take a front row seat to 1980s life in Japan in an experience unlike anything else in video gaming, with uncapped framerates and 4K resolutions. A legend is born.
The game lets you play as either Kazuma Kiryu or Goro Majima, and you'll switch between their perspectives every few chapters. This provides dramatically different gameplay experiences.
Kiryu has three core fighting styles you can freely switch between: 1. Brawler Style: A balanced approach with effective combos and grappling techniques. 2. Rush Style: A lightning-fast style focused on rapid strikes and evasion, allowing long combo chains. 3. Beast Style: A powerhouse style sacrificing mobility for devastating, unrelenting attacks against groups.
In contrast, Majima's signature "Breaker" style incorporates flashy breakdancing and unpredictable, dance-inspired attacks. He can also draw and fire a gun mid-combat.
Beyond basic melee, the combat encourages creatively using environmental objects as improvised weapons - you can pick up and wield everything from bicycles to sewer lids. Chaining these attacks with character-specific "Heat Actions" results in over-the-top, cinematic combos.
As you earn experience in combat, you can invest it to unlock new abilities, combos, and special moves for both protagonists, continuously expanding their combat repertoires. You can also generate passive income through a real estate/cabaret club management minigame, which you can then spend on powerful equipment upgrades.
The game's combat consistently impresses with its depth, variety, and cinematic flair, thanks to the dual protagonists, expansive fighting systems, and over-the-top environmental interactions.
