The Developer Says...

Welcome to Kindergarten! Have fun trying to learn and share...and not die. That's important too. In a school that's just not quite right, it's important to be friendly...and take out those that aren't.

❤ Repetitive Day Structure

The core gameplay loop involves reliving the same Monday over and over, with each day divided into segments like before school, morning class, lunch, recess, and show & tell.

❤ Puzzle Solving and Trial-and-Error

To progress, you must carefully manage your limited resources, such as apples, and solve a variety of puzzles by making dialogue choices and using inventory items at the right time. This trial-and-error approach is essential, as one wrong move can lead to your untimely demise, forcing you to restart the current room or even the entire day.

❤ Collectible Cards

In addition to the main story, you can also hunt for hidden "Monstermon" cards scattered throughout the school, adding an optional collectible layer to the experience.

❤ Replayability and Branching Paths

Finishing a quest often rewards you with an item that unlocks new options for tackling other characters' objectives, creating a web of interconnected puzzles.

❤ Player Agency and Consequences

A unique aspect of the gameplay is the sense of player agency and the consequences that stem from your choices. You can make decisions that result in harming or even killing other characters, which can lead to drastically different outcomes.
