❤ Tactical Turn-Based Combat

The combat system utilizes an action point system, where each action performed by a character costs a certain number of action points. This encourages players to carefully plan and execute their moves, weighing the tradeoffs between movement, attacks, abilities, and defensive actions. The combat incorporates a variety of mechanics that add depth and strategic complexity, including a cover system, attacks of opportunity, aimed shots, and special abilities. Players can choose from a diverse arsenal of weapons, including melee, pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, and sniper rifles, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Enemies are reactive and adaptive, setting up ambushes, recruiting reinforcements, and upgrading their equipment and tactics over time, creating an engaging back-and-forth as players must respond to the evolving threat.

Players can customize their squad of up to seven vigilantes, each with a set of six core stats that can be increased through level-ups.
