Deliver a payload from point A to point B with only a few simple tools and the laws of physics. Create ramps and catapults, watch objects tumble and fall, and someway... somehow reach the destination. Each project is a hand-drawn puzzle for you to interact with -- Devise a plan, experiment, and make it happen!
You must deliver a blue object from point A to point B using physics-based mechanics. The game provides a variety of shapes and tools, including the ability to pin objects in place or erase them entirely. Strategically use these mechanics to create ramps, catapults, pendulums, and other contraptions that propel the blue object to its destination.
The core of the gameplay is the physics simulation. Understand and leverage the laws of physics, such as gravity and momentum, to devise solutions to the puzzles. Carefully time the release of objects or find the right combination of shapes and placements to create the desired result. While the physics engine is generally consistent, it can occasionally produce unexpected or non-deterministic results, which can be both frustrating and rewarding as you adapt your strategies.
The game features over 80 levels that progressively increase in complexity. Each level presents a unique spatial arrangement and set of tools for you to use. The variety of level design encourages you to think creatively and experiment with different Physics-based mechanics, such as catapults, pendulums, and slingshots, to solve the challenges.
If you get stuck, the game provides a hint system that awards points for completing levels. Use these hint points to receive guidance on how to approach more difficult puzzles without completely spoiling the solution. Additionally, many levels can be completed in multiple ways, often with solutions that are significantly more efficient than the "par" number of moves suggested. This encourages you to replay levels and optimize your solutions.
The game features a hand-drawn, notebook-like aesthetic that complements the physics-based gameplay and contributes to the overall relaxed, casual atmosphere. The soundtrack is also well-received, described as "cerebral" and "pleasurable" in supporting the puzzle-solving experience.
