❤ Piloting the Submarine with Coordinated Teamwork

Players take on distinct roles to pilot the blind, sonar-reliant submarine, such as steering, monitoring the radar, and controlling the ship's speed and anchor. This collaborative approach to navigation creates a sense of urgency as the crew must work together seamlessly to safely guide the vessel through the treacherous ocean, avoiding threats along the way.

❤ Scavenging Abandoned Labs and Disposing of Evidence

The primary objective is to explore the randomly generated, dimly lit interiors of abandoned underwater labs, locate the remains of failed corporate experiments, and quickly gather the evidence to shred it back at the submarine. Players must navigate these hazardous environments, dodging deadly creatures, to collect the necessary items before time runs out.

❤ Risk-Reward Progression through Upgrades

Players can spend the credits they earn from disposing evidence to purchase upgrades and equipment that enhance their submarine and diving capabilities. This risk-reward system incentivizes players to take calculated risks during their dives, as the more they can collect and destroy, the more they can invest in improving their chances of success in future missions.

❤ Cooperative Teamwork and Communication

Successful completion of objectives requires players to coordinate their actions, relay crucial information to one another, and support each other's roles. This collaborative problem-solving and decision-making heightens the sense of camaraderie and shared experience among the crew.

❤ Immersive Atmospheric Design

The game's low-resolution, retro-inspired visuals, coupled with the eerie, unsettling sounds of the deep sea, create a pervasive sense of unease and foreboding that contributes to the tense, immersive underwater atmosphere.

❤ Procedural Generation and Replayability

The randomly generated layout of the abandoned labs and the dynamic threats encountered ensure that no two gameplay sessions are alike. This element of unpredictability and variability adds to the game's replayability, as players can explore new challenges and scenarios on each expedition.
