The monster's AI expertly detects your whereabouts through sound and visual cues, making effective use of the environment's hiding spots crucial to your survival.

Between evasion sequences, you must thoroughly search the manor to uncover clues, keys, and other important items needed to progress the complex narrative. The house is intricately designed, with many rooms to search and environmental details to observe. You must pay close attention to your surroundings and piece together the story by reading the documents and notes left behind. Occasional puzzles, such as finding the right combination to unlock a door, also require careful observation and logical thinking to overcome.

The game offers three difficulty settings - Easy, Normal, and Hard - that primarily affect the monster's detection radius and aggression level. The higher difficulties make it more challenging to evade the threat, while the lower settings allow you to focus more on the engaging story.
