Players form a party of up to 4 characters and descend through 60 floors of the randomly-generated "Flux" dungeon. Along the way, they encounter a variety of enemies, traps, and events. The turn-based combat system allows for strategic planning of each party member's actions. Clearing floors and defeating foes rewards the player with experience points and resources to strengthen their characters.

At the start, players choose their protagonist's parents, which defines their base stats and abilities. They then select from 5 distinct class trees - Fighter, Hunter, Trickster, Apprentice Mage, or Wild Mage - each with unique skills and playstyles. As the adventure continues, players invest skill points to further specialize their character, enabling a high degree of build diversity.
