An LGBTQ+ Vampiric Visual Novel. One Night. Three vampires. Make a deal with death or die trying.
The player takes on the role of Noe, a human who stumbles upon the decrepit house of three centuries-old vampires. The gameplay revolves around making choices that determine Noe's fate - whether they survive the encounter or become the vampires' next meal. The game features over 25 potential "dead ends" or bad endings where Noe is killed, as well as several potential "good" or positive endings where Noe is turned into a vampire.
The core gameplay involves navigating through a branching narrative by making choices at various dialogue options. These choices can lead the story down different paths, some of which result in Noe's demise, while others allow them to make a deal with the vampires and potentially become one of them. The game tracks the player's "Death Tally", which keeps count of the number of times Noe has died, encouraging careful decision-making to avoid an untimely end.
Players can explore the game's nonlinear structure and branching narrative to see the various outcomes based on their choices. This includes the over 25 potential "dead ends" where Noe is killed, as well as the several positive outcomes where Noe successfully makes a deal with one of the three vampires and becomes a vampire themselves.
The game allows players to romance one of the three vampire characters - Valeria, Laurel, or Ilyas. At the start of the game, players can choose the protagonist's pronouns and customize their name, helping them feel more invested in Noe and their interactions with the vampires.
Some of the characters' dialogue is voiced by talented voice actors, adding an extra layer of immersion to the experience, though not all of the dialogue is voiced.
