Players Like...

❤ Immersive Stealth Mechanics

Players must rely on their senses to effectively stalk and take down supernatural prey. You must carefully navigate the environment, using cover and staying downwind to avoid detection by enemies with keen sight, sound, and smell. The lack of a traditional HUD or minimap forces you to observe environmental cues to track your quarry.

❤ Unique Hunting Progression

Hunting and defeating enemies allows you to acquire new abilities and upgrades for your bow and arrows. For instance, you can unlock the ability to see scent trails or discover special elemental arrow types with unique effects. This progression system encourages you to experiment with different tactics and playstyles.

❤ Challenging, Reactive Enemy AI

While the stealth mechanics are praised, the enemy AI can sometimes behave erratically or employ simplistic patrol patterns. However, the creatures' ability to track your movements through sight, sound, and smell creates a genuine sense of threat. The unpredictable nature of the encounters forces you to remain vigilant and adapt your tactics on the fly.

❤ Minimalist, Diegetic User Interface

Rather than traditional HUD elements, your health, equipped abilities, and other important information are displayed directly on the in-game bow and your character's hand. This design choice enhances the sense of immersion, as you must learn to interpret and make use of these in-world UI elements as an integral part of the gameplay.
